4th Foundation Anniversary of ICT Employees Society of Bangladesh- ICTESB was held. A Discussion Meeting was held on Saturday after Maghrib (evening prayer) at 102 Auditorium at the Biswa Sahitya Kendra in the capital to mark the 4th Foundation Anniversary of ICTESB.
Jatiya Party Chairman and Opposition Deputy Leader G. M. Quader was present as the chief guest of the event. Former Vice-President (IT) of ATN Bengal, veteran freedom fighter Syed Mushtaq Ahmad Rumi, Advocate of Bangladesh Supreme Court; Panel Advocate of Administrative Appellate Tribunals Court of Bangladesh Dr. Munshi Shahjahan and President of Bangladesh ICT Journalists Forum Nazneen Nahar and SOPHOS UK Country Manager AHM Mohsin were present as special guests.
“No sector will be useful without the ICT sector at the front”
At that time, Jatiya Party chairman and opposition deputy leader Golam Mohammad Quader, the chief guest of the program for ICT professionals, said that if professionalism is developed in the IT sector, there is no need to look for jobs, now it is possible to earn foreign currency by working all over the world from home.
He also said that computer lab has been created but skilled trainers have not been created, in future it will not be useful in any other sector except ICT sector. He also said that corruption is rampant in the country.
Speaking at this time, President Engineer Elahan Uddin said that to build a smart Bangladesh, ICT professionals should be provided with all kinds of facilities including smart internet, smart job security at affordable prices.
President of ICT Employees Society of Bangladesh and CEO of Hostcoding Corporation Engineer Elahan presided over the event and ICTESB Secretary General SM Moazzem Hossain presided over the event.

Shahadat Hossain, Md. Ibrahim Khalil, Treasurer: Ismail Hossain and members of the organization, ICT professionals and various guests were also present.
Special guests Syed Mushtaq Ahmad Rumi, Dr. Munsi Shahjahan, Bangladesh ICT Journalist Forum President Nazneen Nahar, Secretary General of the organization SM Moazzem Hossain, Vice President Abu Bakkar Siddiqui, Dhaka District Vice President Muhammad Zakaria Bhuiyan also spoke on the occasion.
40 people were selected through lottery at the event for Microsoft Office 365 Business Premium software worth around Tk. 5 lakh to be distributed.
