Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) presented the innovative aspect of the latest implemented e-service to the media and stakeholders at the ground floor of its own building in Agargaon. BTRC Chairman Engineer Md. Mohiuddin Ahmed participated in the inauguration and evaluation of this program on Monday in the morning.
BTRC Vice Chairman Md. Aminul Haque, Commissioner Engineer Sheikh Riaz Ahmed, Dr. Mushfiq Mannan Chowdhury, Md Delwar Hossain, Director General and Directors were present.
In the event, BTRC will play a role in the innovative work of engineers as the driving force of Smart Bangladesh, said the Chairman of the organization, Engineer Md. Mohiuddin Ahmed. He said, BTRC will serve as the ‘driving force’ of Smart Bangladesh through innovative technologies within the Commission.
Along with the Chairman and Vice Chairman, Spectrum Division Director General Md. Moniruzzaman Jewel and Director Lt. Col. SM Rezaur Rahman, Md. Golam Razzak and Md. Nuruzzaman are acting as judges in the evaluation phase.
Director General Legal and Licensing Ashish Kumar Kundu, Director General Abdullah Al Mamun, Commission Secretary Nurul Hafiz, Director MA Taleb Hossain, Tarek Hasan Siddiqui, Aftab Md. Rashedul Wadud, Md. Ayakub Ali Bhuiyan and others were also present.
The presentation titled E-Governance and Innovation Action Plan 2023-2024 at four booths showcased seven e-services from the Commission’s Legal and Licensing Division, Engineering and Operations Division, Systems and Services and Spectrum Division.
The services include Central Biometric Verification Monitoring Platform (CVPM), NOC Automation and IMEI Database (NAID), National Equipment Identity Register (NEIR), Online License and Management System (LIMS), Interactive GIS Map, Data Information System and Complaint Management System.
