On Thursday afternoon (December 29, 2022), the authority of Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC), under the jurisdiction of Information and Communication Technology Department, bid a farewell to Director of Training and Development Mohammad Enamul Kabir.
BCC Executive Director (Grade 1) Ranjit Kumar presided over the farewell function held at the BCC Auditorium located in the ICT Tower of Agargaon in the capital. EDGE Project Director and Joint Secretary Dr. Muhammad Mehdi Hasan, BCC Policy Strategy and Planning Director Md. Abu Saeed and BCC Secretary Mohammad Rashedul Islam were present among others.
Mohammad Enamul Kabir who hailed from Rajshahi completed his BSc in EEE from BUET and MBA from IBA, University of Dhaka. In a long career of about 28 years, he was associated with various important activities of the government by discharging his duties with honesty, devotion, sincerity and efficiency. He played an active role in successfully organizing many important events or activities including the recently successfully completed International Collegiate Programming Contest, Digital World, Blockchain Olympiad, National Girls Collegiate Programming Contest, e-Asia and so on.
On the occasion, Mohammad Enamul Kabir narrated his various experiences in his career. He said that BCC has been playing an important role since the beginning with professionalism in the service of the country and the people in the development of information technology. All the challenges must be faced firmly and move forward while doing better in the future. He offered various suggestions to take the BCC forward more successfully.
Finally, the BCC officials wished the outgoing BCC director Mohammad Enamul Kabir a prosperous future and gave a memento to him as well as flowers.
