The first meeting of the National Digital Security Council (NDSC) has been scheduled at the Prime Minister’s office on October 6. The meeting to be presided over by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will discuss the permanent infrastructure, other infrastructure and activities of this ‘critical infrastructure’ under the Directorate of Information and Communication.
A power point presentation has already been prepared for a presentation in that meeting. On Tuesday, the State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak attended a preparatory meeting at his office in this regard.
In the preparatory meeting, the progress of the construction of the DSA building which has started at Bangabandhu Hi-Tech Park in Kaliakoir, Gazipur was highlighted. In addition, the recruitment of manpower to increase the manpower was also discussed.
The Digital Security Agency (DSA) Director General Md Khairul Amin, Director Tarek M Barkatullah, Head of BD Cert Technical Team Tauhidur Rahman and others were present in the meeting chaired by Senior Secretary of ICT Division NM Zeaul Alam.
