Our independence came to fruition with the return of Bangabandhu to his homeland. The historic speech delivered by Bangabandhu on his return to the independent country was a complete guideline for nation building. He gave a far-reaching outline on how to move a country with a fragile economy and create a science-based education system. That unfulfilled dream of Bangabandhu is being implemented by his worthy successor Deshratna Sheikh Hasina.”
“There is no substitute for research if a country’s development is to be sustainable,” he said. We have to play a role in building Bangabandhu’s golden Bengal at the university level.”
