Vivo will organize this year’s developer conference on November 1 in Shenzhen, China. One of the highlights of this event will be OriginOS 4, which is the company’s new custom skin based on Android 14. Vivo also said that it will unveil its own operating system at the conference.
Although Vivo is yet to reveal anything specific about their new OS, well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has mentioned that this operating system will be used in Internet of Things or IoT devices. Such as smartwatches, fitness trackers, etc.
It is not clear whether this OS will be available in future mobile phones. However, Vivo is unlikely to pull out of the Android Open Source Project ecosystem just yet.
Vivo will also unveil its own artificial intelligence large model at their 2023 conference. According to C-Eval Large Model Evaluation, the model made by Vivo ranked first in the Global-China list. Vivo has revealed that this AI Large model will be used for the first time in the upcoming OriginOS 4 system and will include five self-developed large models with three different parameter levels.
