A three-day workshop is going to be started from Thursday at Sarina Hotel located in Banani of the capital, organized by ISPAB. The APNIC accredited trainers will train 80 engineers from various ISPs to protect broadband internet customers while safeguarding the country’s cyber space.
Prior to this, the Minister for Posts and Telecommunications, Mustafa Jabbar, will inaugurate the training program which will be started in cooperation with IBP of the Ministry of Commerce.
ISPAB President Imdadul Haque will preside over the event while the BTRC Director General Brigadier General Ehsanul Kabir and IBPC Coordinator Md Abdur Rahim Khan consented to be present as special guests.
ISPAB General Secretary Nazmul Karim Bhuiyan is likely to deliver the welcome address.
The workshop will be conducted by APNIC Trainers Abdul Awla, Nasir Uddin and Deb Palan on Advanced BGP Routing and IXP, DDos, RPKI and Network Security.
