The Taliban government has banned video sharing app TikTok and online game Pubji in Afghanistan. The directive came into effect on Thursday (April 21).
Citing instructions issued in this regard, the BBC reported that the youth of the country are going astray recently by using TikTok and playing PUBG. This is a step to get the youth back on track.
After regaining power last year, the Taliban imposed a ban on various entertainment programs against Islamic law. As a result, the young people leaned towards TikTok and PUBG. This time this sort of entertainment is also closed in the country.
The Taliban came to power for the first time in 1996. During the five-year rule until 2001, this government was discussed for strict Islamic rule.
