Netflix is set to release the information of the lowest marginal revenue growth in the last eight years. The information will be released next Tuesday, Reuters reported. While there will be emphasis on bringing new seasons to the series like Stranger Things and Work.
The company is spending billions of dollars on its own movies and television shows. The streaming platform is also working on creating mobile games to add new subscribers.
Netflix is gaining momentum to compete with companies like HBO Max, Amazon and Walt Disney. That’s why they are taking various steps to attract global customers in the future.
Analysts say Netflix is losing nearly a million subscribers in Russia due to the closure of streaming services. The platform can get 26 lakh subscribers in the first quarter and 27 lakh subscribers in the second quarter. However, that is less than the average number of customers subscribed during the Covid-19 pandemic.
New subscribers will be available in developing regions where fees have been reduced. And like in the United States and Canada, where fees have risen, customers will get new content.
