The moon was not seen in the sky on Monday. Eid celebrations will begin on Tuesday night in different parts of the world, including the Middle East, North Africa, Australia. Due to the position of the moon, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in Bangladesh, India and many other countries on Thursday.
But before that, with the benefit of social media, Muslims around the world are exchanging Eid greetings in advance with each other. In the meantime, a small video about this has spread through netizens. The video contains the world’s most popular Eid greeting ‘Eid Mubarak’. In this 38 second video, the video is made of a collection of greetings in 13 languages including Bengali, Arabic, Assamese, Hindi, Urdu, Persian, French, Turkish.
Al Jazeera , a Qatar-based media, has published these greetings posts in different languages in the form of short videos.

Then Pakistan (22.5 million), India (21.10 million), Bangladesh (15.55 million) and Nigeria (11.10 million) are in the second, third, fourth and fifth places respectively.
Eid-ul-Fitr is the first of the two Eids of Islam. In the 9th month of the Arabic lunar calendar, Ramadan, after fasting and religious rituals for 1 month, Muslims enter a pure life again through this Eid. The celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr actually begins after the first moon rise of the tenth month of Shawwal.
However, despite the difference in the time of Eid, there is no obstacle or difference in greeting Muslims of different countries, languages and cultures in their respective languages. On social media, Muslims from different countries have expressed their Eid greetings to the Muslim Ummah.
Each greeting says ‘Eid Mubarak’ meaning May this Eid bring blessings.
