A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University, Bangladesh (BDU) and Tokyo Gogaku Gakko (TGG) on artificial intelligence, virtual reality, Japanese language education, internship and job placement in Japanese institutions, among others.
On behalf of the BDU, the memorandum was signed by University Registrar Muhammad Ataur Rahman Khan and Business Advisor Sakamoto Takauki on behalf of Tokyo Gogaku Gakko (TGG) in the meeting room of the Administration Building of the University at Kaliakoir in Gazipur on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at the initiative of the IoT and Robotics Engineering Department of BDU.
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University, Bangladesh Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Mahfuzul Islam was present at the MoU signing ceremony.
Ayano Takeuchi, Japanese language teacher of Tokyo Gogaku Gakko (TGG); Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University, Chairman of IoT and Robotics Engineering Department of BDU, Shamsuddin Ahmed and others were present among others.
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University, Bangladesh Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Mahfuzul Islam said, skilled young manpower is needed for the expansion of technology. Japan has a large elderly population and a relatively small youth population so they need skilled young manpower. It is for that purpose that this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is signed with Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University Bangladesh (BDU).
