Fleet Bangladesh started its journey from Rajshahi and opened an office in Banani of the capital city. Khairul Alam, a successful freelancer and founder of Fleet Bangladesh, started 9 ventures within 5 years of establishment without any government support or bank loan, bought a place with his own financing and opened this corporate office of the company.
The State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak inaugurated this 3200 square feet corporate office on Wednesday to present such capabilities as an inspiration to the youth. The BASIS President Russell T Ahmed and BACCO General Secretary Tauhid Hossain participated in the event welcoming his initiative.
Junaid Ahmed Palak said on the occasion, ‘I have come here to encourage and inspire Khairul, and wish his path be smooth’. He drew the attention of the hi-tech park authorities to announce the institution as a private hi-tech park. At the same time, the State Minister requested BASIS and BACCO to take measures so that Fleet Bangladesh gets the 10 percent ITES export incentive announced by the government.
He said, ‘We always want the government to play the role of a facilitator. As the BASIS President’s three by three formula, we want to play a bridging role in. So that, we can play the role of a bridge as a bridge between industry and academia’.
