The Team Disclosify has been qualified as the ‘Cyber Army of the Year’ for solving the maximum number of problems in the two-day time frame. Whereas, the Rupali Bank became first in the competition among financial institutions.
Team Disclosify became the first to solve the ‘National Cyber Drill-2022’ organized by Bangladesh Computer Incident Response Team (BGD e-GOV CIRT) on the occasion of Digital Bangladesh Day and scored 7700 marks. The members of this group are Tasdir Ahmed, Md. Russell Bhuiyan, Raihan Ahmed, Amir Hamza and Md. Atal Khan.
Scoring 100 marks less and based on time taken to answer, the BRAC University’s Blunders and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology’s F.Society stood second and third respectively.
About 247 participants in 53 teams from government and private financial institutions, regulatory institutions, university students, private service organizations actively participated online in the cyber drill organized by the BGD e-GOV CIRT.
Tarek M Barkatullah, Project Director of BGD e-GOV CIRT, said that cyber security is basically a team work. Hence teamwork is being encouraged through the National Cyber Drill. BGD e-GOV CIRT. 3 cyber drills (with participation of financial institutions, university students and all) are being held every year. By organizing these drills, the participants are getting a proper understanding of what to do to deal with cyber risks and the country’s capability in cyber security is increasing.
