State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak said, I believe, a healthy physical structure is necessary for healthy recreation and healthy mind. Sports teaches our youth to accept victory and defeat. Through sports our children learn team work. Just as a team wins a game, teamwork is needed for our overall development as well. We need team work to develop our Singra into advanced modern and aesthetic Singra.
The State Minister expressed his optimism while speaking at the prize distribution ceremony of the final game of ‘Late Faiz Uddin Ahmed Smriti Football Tournament’ at the Telegram Government Primary School ground of Sherkol Union of Singra Upazila.
He thanked and appreciated everyone in Telegram who organized the ‘Late Faiz Uddin Ahmed Memorial Football Tournament’ paying tribute to the memory of his father late Faiz Uddin Ahmed who is lying in the ground of this Telegram.
Palak expressed his gratitude to the people of his village for not taking anything even if they wanted to give something, “We are soldiers of Bangabandhu, followers of public leader Sheikh Hasina. We do not do politics of lies, we do not do politics of deception. We follow what we say with our actions. The people of Natore are his witnesses. Every road bridge in my constituency Natore Singra bears its testimony. I have devoted myself to complete all incomplete work”, he added.
He also said, I pray for my late father that Allah may grant him Jannatul Firdous and at the same time pray for Father of the Nation Bangabandhu and all the martyrs who were brutally killed on August 15, 1975. You will also pray for the honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Man does not live forever on earth, man lives through his actions. He urged everyone saying, “Please, pray for me so that I can fulfill my duties with faith as your servant till death” – added Junaid Ahmed Palak.
