According to the latest data released by Canalys, despite the low supply, PC sales increased by 15 percent in 2021 compared to 2020. Generally speaking, in 2021, most of the buyers bought new PCs instead of replacing the old ones. In addition, many distant students and adults bought the first computer.
Some PC brands have had a much better time than others. Lenovo, HP, Dell, Apple and Acer are among the top 5 in the market for PC supply. However, Apple and Acer are in significant positions by selling 20 percent more PCs than by 2020.
Leading Lenovo and HP had the least progress. Basically, early in the last quarter their product supply decreased and rival companies increased. However, despite the low progress, they are at the top in terms of market share.
