Apple is moving forward with a lot of secrecy in making driverless cars. However, according to Bloomberg, the company has hired one of its biggest competitors, a key figure in the company. News Engadget.
The technology giant has hired Tesla director Christopher CJ Moore. He has been with Tesla since 2014 and has been the Director of Tesla Autopilot Software since 2019.
Moore also updated his LinkedIn page. According to Bloomberg, Moore will work in Apple’s software department. He will work under Stuart Bowers. Prior to joining Apple in 2019, Bowers also served as head of Tesla’s autopilot division.
Moore and Bowers are two former Tesla employees who Apple has hired in their car division. But among those who have joined Apple in addition to them are former Tesla VP of Engineering Michael and Steve Manmanus.
