Election for the Executive Council of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS), for the period of 2024-2026 was held on Wednesday, May 8th. 8 out of 11 posts were won by ‘One Team’ candidates in the election. On Thursday in the evening, the elected Directors distributed the posts among themselves.
Team Creative CEO Russell T Ahmed took the lead of the BASIS once again. According to the distribution of posts, Systech Digital Limited CEO Md Rashidul Hasan has become the Senior Vice President. At the same time, MasterCard Bangladesh Country Manager Syed Mohammad Kamal (Administrative) and Divine IT Managing Director Iqbal Ahmed Fakhrul Hasan (Finance) were elected Vice Presidents from the international category.
The remaining seven who won the vote were appointed as Directors. They are Mostafizur Rahman Sohail, CEO of Advanced ERP; CEO of Shooting Star Limited, Didarul Alam; Asif Rahman of AR Communication; Mohammad Risalam Siddiqui of Analyze Bangladesh Limited; Mir Shahrul Islam of Bondstein Technology; Biblab G Rahul of Carnival Assure Limited and Syed Abdullah Zayed of Finalitics.
On May 11, the BASIS Election Commission will officially hand over the responsibility to this new committee.
