Mobile operator Banglalink’s digital entertainment platform Toffee has got the exclusive digital rights to broadcast all ICC tournaments in Bangladesh till 2025. According to the rights, the T20 World Cup broadcast will start from June 2 on this streaming platform.
For the strategic agreement with Total Sports Management (TSM), Toffee, the largest digital entertainment platform of Bangladesh will get the right to exclusively telecast each of the world’s biggest cricket events in 2024 and 2025. During this period, 20 countries will participate in 71 men’s matches and 95 women’s matches.
These ICC tournaments include ICC Men’s and Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 and several other important tournaments. These rights will be paid for from subscription fees and advertising revenue.
The announcement was made in a press conference organized at The Westin Hotel in Dhaka in the presence of Banglalink CEO Erik Aas, Banglalink Chief Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Officer Taimur Rahman and Toffee’s Marketing Deputy Director Muhammad Abul Khair Chowdhury.
As informed by Banglalink, so far more than fifty million viewers have enjoyed seamless live streaming of tournaments like FIFA Football World Cup 2022, Asia Cup Cricket 2023 and ICC Men’s World Cup 2023 on Toffee.

CEO of TSM, Md. Moinul Haque Chowdhury, enthused, “We are extremely excited about the huge potential opened up by our existing agreement with Toffee. ICC events as well as other international cricket events will also be streaming on Toffee which have already been licensed to Toffee by TSM. We believe that our partnership with Toffee, the country’s largest streaming platform, will allow us to take the cricket viewing experience of the audience to a different level. At the same time, we will add a new dimension to the sportsmen’s engagement with the game in Bangladesh.”
