A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Bangladesh Open Source Network (BDOSN) and Youth Hub to jointly manage various project activities and capacity-building programs, events and training programs of their respective organizations in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The MoU was signed at 12 noon local time on Friday, July 1 at the BDOSN office.
The agreement was signed by Kaniz Fatema, CEO of Bangladesh Open Source Network and Jasia Noshin Chowdhury, Vice President of Youth Hub.
By this agreement, they undertake various programs to improve the skills of the youth, especially school coders, girls in ICT, school preneurs, training of primary and secondary level teachers of Bangladesh on Google for Education, computer programming of Bangladeshi children and adolescents at home and abroad, their coding. The two institutions will work together to teach the basics about, attract students to computer education from their school life, and improve their skills in ICT and STEM and especially computer programming. Apart from this, various awareness programs, participation in national and international programs, workshops, education and certification activities, hackathons with children and adolescents will also be organized.
BDOSN Admin and Accounts Officer Narayan Chakraborty and Anisul Haque, Co-ordinator for Growth of Women Entrepreneurs, Ahmad Muddasser and Youth Hub Executive Committee members Ridwanul Haque and Ashikur Rahman were present on the occasion.
