The Innovation and Entrepreneur Development Academy Establishment Project-iDEA of the ICT Department is conducting a 6-day long online boot camp with 65 selected startups of Bangabandhu Innovation Grant (BIG-2021).
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology, Zunaid Ahmed Palak inaugurated the boot camp on Saturday morning.
In his speech as the chief guest, the state minister called upon the young entrepreneurs to start small and move forward with big dreams. “My last request for all startups – Think Big, Start Small, Move Fast,” said Palak.
Stating that every entrepreneur further noticed that, all participants in the boot camp will be monitored silently, the state minister urged all to move forward with caution and attention.
He said that these 65 startups are very important for our future economy of Bangladesh.
In the program conducted by Startup Bangladesh investment manager, Fayez Ahmed, Palak also said, “Our goal is that the startups of the future like Pathao-Truck Lagbe can solve the problems of the country, meet the needs and create more new jobs for millions, crores of youth.”
Bangladesh Computer Council Executive Director Partha Pratim Deb presided over the function while Tina F. Jabin, Managing Director of Startup Bangladesh; iDea Project Director Abdur Rakib; Minhaz Anwar, Chief StoryTeller at BetterStories limited also connected in this inaugural session.
