In response to a question from Oracle’s Executive Vice President and General Manager of Japan and Asia Pacific Region, Mr. Garrett Ilog, he said that at present, everyone is talking more or less about AI technology. We are constantly using a variety of AI tools like ChatGPT. In the future many tasks will be done with this AI. This is why we emphasized on AI seven years ago under the guidance of ICT consultant Sajeeb Wazed Joy. Now plans to launch AI tools for government services to citizens have been taken up. Recently, 4 pilot projects have been undertaken under Smart Bangladesh Pilot Project. Several AI tools have already been developed under this project. We are also building our own capabilities in providing these AI supported services. We can host them in our own data center in the country. All the four AI GPTs will start working in the government in a few days. A few days ago, I requested Oracle CEO Safra to set up an AI development center in Bangladesh to bring all the services to the citizens at their fingertips. As per that request we have decided to set up eGov Service Delivery Excellence Center. We are going to do a hackathon jointly with Oracle. Similarly, we are all set to launch certification and diploma courses.
