State-owned Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL) has formed a ‘Rapid Response Team’ (RRT) to provide round-the-clock customer support across the country by improving its services including Internet. A total of 21 dedicated officials have been assigned for this prompt customer care responsibility of this team, divided into seven regions across the country.
On Sunday (February 18), the list of Rapid Response Team was published on BTCL’s website. AM Abdullah Patwari, DGM (Switch) of BTCL’s Ramna division of the team, said that 21 officers have been assigned the responsibility of different regions of the country divided into seven parts to improve and enrich customer service. The team will work diligently to resolve any customer complaints as quickly as possible.
Among this area-wise Rapid Response Team No. 1 – North part of Dhaka Metropolitan. It includes Banani, Gulshan, Uttara and its adjacent areas – Gazipur, Narsingdi, Kishoreganj, Jamalpur, Sherpur, Tangail, Mymensingh and Netrakona areas is included.
The second region includes University area, Secretariat, Ramna, Old Dhaka and adjacent areas – Jinjira, Keraniganj, Kalatia, Dohar, Nawabganj, Kamrangir Char area. Under 3rd team will look after the eastern part of Dhaka Metropolitan. It covers Moghbazar, Khilgaon, Banshri, Rampura, Gendaria and adjacent areas – Narayanganj, Munshiganj, Sylhet, Sunamganj, Moulvibazar, Habiganj area.
Similarly in zone number 4, the western part of Dhaka Metropolitan. Under this, Sher Bangla Nagar, Mohammadpur, Dhanmondi, Mirpur and adjacent areas, Savar, Manikganj area etc. Meanwhile, Under 5 team will cover all districts of Chittagong division; Team number 6 is responsible for Khulna and Barisal division and 7ths Team is dedicated for Rajshahi and Rangpur division.
BTCL has launched this Rapid Response Team and 24/7 service to provide round-the-clock service to customers. Apart from this, it is also reported that customer service activities are being made faster through the organization’s improved Network Operation Center (NOC).
