Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) is preparing to move from e-Nathi (electronic-documents) to D-Nathi (Digitised documents) at the onset of the Smart Bangladesh journey.
The migration work will start from November 30. As a result, all types of online application and other e-document based activities of BTRC will be closed till December 5. But the service will continue.
This information was conveyed by the administration department of BTRC on Sunday. According to sources, 100% of BTRC’s official work is done in electronic documents.
According to sources, the e-document scheme through a2i is coming to an end in December. Then will start D-Documents in Smart File Management.
Basically, e-documents is an online office management system for managing documents electronically instead of conventional document management. As part of the e-office program, e-documents are currently being used by more than 1 lakh 34 thousand officials of more than 13 thousand government offices to bring work dynamics, transparency and accountability in various ministries/government offices. So far, more than 2 crore 28 lakh files have been disposed of through the e-document system.
Meanwhile, at the beginning of the new financial year, it has been decided to launch the next version of the currently used e-document, which is D-document, in order to increase transparency and speed in government work. The use of D-documents is being started in all government offices gradually.
