CSI Fighters, Inpace and Global Avengers advanced to semis with exhibition roar in B-Track Technologies ICT Cricket Tournament. The final match will be held at the Shyamoli Club ground tomorrow.
The Global Avengers won the toss and scored 251 runs in the last match on Wednesday. Nahid Hasan scored 105 runs from just 36 balls with 10 sixes and 8 fours for the team and helped Global Avengers secure the highest score of the tournament.
In response, Saeed Sarkar of E-Set scored 76 runs, but E-Set Strikers collapsed in 15 overs. E-set got 120 runs by playing 57 balls in partnership with Shafiul Islam. They looked for two consecutive wickets in the tenth over. Ashraful and Rajeev’s attacking bowling made the other batsmen back to pavilion. Both these bowlers took three wickets each.

At the end of the match, the Tournament Event Management Standing Committee Chairman Kazi Ashraful Alam, B-Track Product Manager Nabila Manzoor and BCS Vice President Rashed Ali Bhuiyan handed over the Man of the Match award to Nahid Hasan.
However, in the previous match, CSI Fighters topped the quarter final with a huge score of 220 runs. Batting for a target of 220 runs, Jabra Panacast lost all wickets and collected 182 runs. Sabbir Ahmed was the Man of the Match for CSI Fighters which won by 37 runs.

Red Dragon Warriors won the toss and decided to field in the third match of the quarter finals. The Warriors bowlers were under pressure at the beginning. Opening batsman Ariful Islam was bowled out for 13 runs. Imran Zaheer also came back to pavilion in the second over.
In-pace went on the backfoot after losing 4 wickets to collect 53 runs. However, the In-pace batsmen were able to celebrate the 25th years of establishment in the fifth wicket of Yashin Bhuiyan and Rajin Nooruddin. Thanks to these two batsmen, the In-pace scored 202 runs.
As the Red Dragon Warriors could not collect more than 156 runs after losing 7 wickets, the In-pace bowler Maidul and Imnei were a lot of trouble for Redragon. Maidul hunted 34 runs in 4 overs with 3 wickets. Emon took 2 wickets with 36 runs on even balls. And Saqlain took 1 wicket.
As a result, In-pace won by 45 runs at the end of the match. And for the team, Rajin Nuruddin scored 109 runs in just 35 balls with 15 sixes and 2 fours and became the Man of the Match.
