CS Fighters defeated Ara Technologies by 7 wickets in the second match of BTRAC ICT Cricket Tournament. CS Fighters’ Saifullah Bin Sagar became the Man of the Match for his impeccable bowling.
CSI Fighters won the toss and sent Ara Technologies into bat in the second match of the 16-team IT sector tournament on Sunday afternoon after the official opening. Pavel-Raihan collected 47 runs in 5 overs with the bat. However, Raihan, the opening batsman, was caught in the LBW after collecting 12 personal runs.
Pavel, the other opening batsman, made a personal 30 runs in 18 balls by sending the fielder out of boundaries on the first ball of the seventh over. And after completing his personal half-century in 29 balls, Pavel scored 52 runs in 30 balls and was beaten by Saifullah Bin Sagar. After that, Ara scored 6 wickets in 12 overs. At the end of the match, Ara threw a target of 117 runs in front of the opponent for 8 wickets.
In response, the two opening batsmen of CS Fighters, Sabbir Ahmed and Riazul, made a pair of 72 runs in 4 overs. However, after collecting 25 runs off 9 balls, Sabbir had to return home with the last ball of the over remaining. Riazul led the team to victory by scoring an unbeaten 67 runs along with his teammate Ariful. CS Fighters Saifullah Bin Sagar became the man of the match with 4 wickets for 23 runs and snatched victory by 7 wickets with 120 runs in the seventh over in a challenge of 117 runs by hitting 7 boundaries and 4 over boundaries.
