Thursday was a holiday on account of Swaraswati Puja and Friday was a weekend. Like the last two days, on Saturday too, in the mood of a holiday, Digital Bangladesh Mela-2023 turned into a ‘Children’s Kingdom’ since morning. In the executive lounge at the entrance of the fair, about two hundred children painted Bangabandhu’s dream of Sonar Bangla and Prime Minister’s Smart Bangladesh.
Some of the children studying in the first grade to the fifth grade have drawn 5G towers in the rural-Bangla with the sweetness of mind.
With all the latest technologies of digital fair, the children drew with the interest to know new things and great surprises. Experience zone was a surprise like that. Children are introduced to VR, artificial intelligence robots, digital classrooms.
In virtual reality, they experienced Safari Pak, Sahara desert or entering the age of dinosaurs from the fair. The newcomers were immersed in the state of new innovations with high-speed internet, modern devices and so on.
The Bangladesh of Bangabandhu’s dream has been brought to life in the realm of robotics, fantasy cartoons. Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar and Ministry Secretary Abu Hena Morshed Zaman visited the drawing competition.
January 28 is the last day of the fair. Children made the biggest crowd. Children watched cartoons about Bangabandhu in the digital educational material at the post and telecommunication department’s stall.
Children with their parents came in large numbers on all three days of the fair. Organizers aim to reach this technology to children and youth. This can be deemed as largely successful.
