30 women entrepreneurs were trained on how to use Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp for business purposes on Thursday (January 12). The workshop titled “SheMeansBusiness” teaches how to use Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp business apps simultaneously through Meta Sweet Apps. Besides, basic idea about online market was given. As a result of this training, women entrepreneurs will get an opportunity to enter the online market and their path to economic liberation will be smooth, said the organizers.
The trainees said that this training had been very useful for them. Through this training they will get the opportunity to sell their products outside the country. In one word, new horizons were opened in the field of business through this training.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Azizur Rahman inaugurated this training program in Uddipan Badar Shamsu Bidyaniketan Lab of Bagerhat Sadar Upazila in the morning.
Bagerhat Sadar Upazila Parishad Women Vice Chairman Rizia Parveen, Bagerhat Foundation General Secretary Ahad Uddin Haider, Sams Uddin Nahar Trust Chief Coordinator Subrata Kumar Mukherjee, Uddipan Badar Shamsu Bidyaniketan Head Teacher Dipankar Pal, Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Industry Senior Officer (Training) Sumant Mohant, Trainer Shahinul Islam and other trainees were also present in the training program.
Bangladesh Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BWCCI) with the support of ICT Division and Cabinet Division with the funding of Facebook Meta conducted this training program throughout the day.
