To save repair costs for iPhone or MacBook laptop, Apple has launched ‘Self Service Repair’ program in 8 more countries after the United States. The countries are UK, France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Poland, Sweden and Spain.
In fact, any problem with an Apple product cannot be repaired without a service center. Due to lack of spare parts and skilled workers, there are no service centers in the vicinity to repair them. As a result, Apple’s authorized service center is forced to take help. It costs a good amount of money in addition to buying the necessary parts as well as repair charges.
To save this cost, with this new service, under Apple’s self-service repair program, you can buy the necessary parts from a specific website to repair iPhone 12 and 13 series and MacBook laptops. Apple will also provide free repair instructions for this. Not only that, the toolkit needed to repair Apple products can also be rented. As a result, anyone with knowledge about electronics can easily repair iPhone or MacBook at home.
According to Apple, the same quality parts as those used at an authorized repair center are available in the self-service repair program. There is no need to worry about the quality of parts. Users can sell old parts to Apple after repairing the product if they want.
