Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar said, anti-independence radical sectarian groups are not only using Facebook, they are using Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and many other media as well, so we should not only pay attention to Facebook. We need to take care of other social media too.

The anti-independence forces continue to spread rumors through social media and create communal riots to destroy the peace, progress and stability of the country.

The minister applauded the 1971 Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee, which has been working against communalism for a long time. He said, through ‘BTRC’ we are planning to create an app to delete offensive posts and comments on various online portals. Earlier we had a success rate of 5% in reporting various Facebook posts and deleting them, now it has increased to 40%. The role of the relevant ministry in eliminating radical terrorism is leading. We are going to take initiatives to make the members of the law and order forces aware of this in order to eradicate terrorism.
Paying respect to Jahanara Imam, the minister said, we are following the path shown by her. Her career to build an anti-independence free non-communal Bangladesh is a path to us. The father of the nation defeated the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Kazi Mukul, Central General Secretary of Nirmul Committee, said that it is necessary to think how to spread the message of liberation war and secular humanitarian Bangladesh more coherently through social media.
Dr. Ekram Chowdhury in the speech of the President said that the unprecedented civil movement that we started more than three decades ago under the leadership of Shaheed Janani Jahanara Imam had two main objectives, the prosecution of the 71 genocide and war criminals and the prohibition of politics in the name of anti-independence genocide and the establishment of a secular welfare state in the spirit of the liberation war.
