The booth program of ICT Olympiad, which will be held for the first time in the country on information technology, has started at City University. ICT Olympiad Bangladesh registration booths will be set up in various educational institutions of the country so that students from all regions of the country can participate. On this occasion, the campus fest of ICT Olympiad was held at City University.
The campus fest was held on Tuesday (August 2) at City University Auditorium. Prof. Engineer Dr. was present as the chief guest. Md. Humayun Kabir, Dean, Faculty of Science and Engineering, City University and Engineer Md. Safayet Hossain, Head, Department of CSE, City University as a special guest.
Mohammad Shahriar Khan, Chairman of Whistle and Member of Governing Body of ICT Olympiad Bangladesh, Arefin Dipu, CEO and Founder of Whistle and Member of Governing Body of ICT Olympiad Bangladesh and Shamima Binte Jalil, Convenor of ICT Olympiad Bangladesh were speakers in the event.
While speaking as the chief guest, Professor Engineer Dr. Md. Humayun Kabir said, “Bangladesh is advancing in information technology. All of you join ICT Olympiad, gain knowledge about information technology. All the best for the ICT Olympiad.”
In the speech of the special guest, Engineer Md. Safayet Hossain said, ICT Olympiad is a wonderful initiative, he congratulated ICT Olympiad Bangladesh and called upon all the students of City University to register for the ICT Olympiad.
Students from school to university can participate in this competition in six categories. The prize money for the contestants is 50 lakh taka. 5 months after registration in the competition, students will have the opportunity to brush up their ICT knowledge through mentors.
