The next day, 11 lakh 51 thousand 234 SIM users left Dhaka even on the opening day of the office. Altogether, the number of Dhaka leaving SIMs on Eid stood at 90 lakh 38 thousand 778.
On the contrary, 33 lakh 44 thousand 907 mobile SIMs returned to Dhaka in the next 4 days of the holy Eid-ul-Adha (July 11-14). According to statistics, so far the return rate of SIMs in Dhaka after the Eid holidays is 37 percent.
Most of the Grameenphone SIM users have returned to Dhaka. The number of SIMs of this operator returned to Dhaka is 13 lakh 30 thousand 696. With 11 lakh 24 thousand 712SIMs, Banglalink is in the second position; 8 lakh 11 thousand 738SIMs of Robi and 77 thousand 761 SIMs of the state owned Teletalk came back to Dhaka during this time.

According to the latest data published in the verified Facebook post of Post and Telecommunication Minister Mostafa Jabbar, 13 lakh 30 thousand 696 SIMs of Grameenphone, 8 lakh 11 thousand 738 SIMs of Robi, 11 lakh 24 thousand 712 SIMs of Banglalink and 77 thousand 761SIMs of Teletalk have returned to Dhaka till last Thursday.
This number is believed to have doubled last Friday and this Saturday. And since a person uses multiple SIMs; Again, since not everyone in a family uses a SIM card, the actual data of return to Dhaka cannot be found from this number. However, it is estimated that 40 percent of people who left Dhaka for Eid have not returned to Dhaka yet.
