Bangladesh Association of Contact Center and Outsourcing-BACCO has organized a day-long workshop on “Overview of Government Procurement System for Services” at Amazon Lily Lake View Residence in the capital.
Representatives from 43 BACCO member organizations attended the workshop on Saturday, June 18, 2022. Taking part in the workshop, they got hands-on training on how to participate in government process outsourcing in one of the sectors of the BPO industry in a proper manner. The training was imparted by Mohammad Atiqul Islam, Deputy Director (Planning), Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority.
The workshop was inaugurated by BACCO General Secretary Touhid Hossain. Md. Faisal Khan, Executive Officer of IBPC was also present.
Tanvir Ibrahim, Vice President of BACCO, thanked the trainers, trainees and the Business Promotion Council for sponsoring the workshop for making the event lively, fruitful and meaningful. At the end of the workshop, he distributed certificates among the trainees.
Commenting on the workshop, BACCO General Secretary Touhid Hossain said that the government organizations of the country can outsource various activities including customer service, data entry, social media and digital media management, IT support, public survey. The main objective of the workshop was to raise awareness about government process outsourcing and to increase the participation of BACCO member organizations in purchasing IT based services of government organizations.
