On the occasion of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birth anniversary and National Children’s Day, a discussion meeting and science competition was held at the National Museum of Science and Technology.
Taking part in the program on Thursday (March 17) morning, Director General of the National Museum of Science and Technology Mohammad Munir Chowdhury said, “Bangabandhu’s non-discriminatory spirit and patriotism must be carried. He loved the poor and miserable humanity. He was vocal against corruption. His spirit against corruption and discrimination was a powerful tool to build the country.”
Besides, drawing competitions, science lectures and quiz competitions were organized with the participation of hundreds of children from different schools of the capital. The winning students in the drawing competition are Mosammat Israt Jahan Ishita, Ratna Parveen Barsha and Mosammat Shahnaz Khatun.
The winning students in the science lecture are Md. Aminul Islam, Md. Riyadh and Abida Islam. The winning students were given special gifts by the museum authority. The museum also hosted free exhibitions for the visitors.
Officers and employees of all levels of the museum were present at every event.
