In most cases of mobile banking and ATM card fraud, the fraud identify himself/herself as an officer/employee head office, company office or IT branch of bKash, UCash, Rocket, Nagad or any other mobile banking organization or the ATM card (debit/credit) used by you.
At that time the person tries to speak in a very pure language and elegantly.
The fraudster wants to know the secret PIN number of your bKash, UCash, Rocket, Nagad etc. account or ATM card (debit/credit) by showing system maintenance, data update, customer verification or any other special/urgent reason. It is threatened that your account will be closed/suspended if you do not provide the PIN number.
Fact: No organization (organization/employee) will ever want to know the secret PIN number or password of any of your account.
Tip: Cut off the call without being disturbed by this type of call and it is better to refrain from receiving the call from the number later. In case of fraud, the nearest police should be informed without delay and at the same time the bank authorities should be informed and requested to take necessary action.
