The ICT Department attaches utmost importance to research, innovation and empowering entrepreneurs to reduce digital inequality. Through this, Bangladesh will become a developed country by 2041 through inclusive development by meeting the consumer demand of the rapidly growing digital devices.
The ICT Department has already set up an Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Academy (IDEA) and formed a venture capital company called Startup Limited in Bangladesh to sustain the country’s developing digital economy by harnessing the potential of youth in implementing this goal. I am hopeful that our youth will show the way to meet the challenges of the future by solving our civic problems with their innovative energy. Will turn the problem into a possibility.
This was stated by State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak in a speech at the Dhaka Talks Innovation Webinar organized by the Dutch Embassy and the Netherlands International Agency on Wednesday (November 17). This webinar is organized on the occasion of ‘Start Dhaka Up’ organized with entrepreneurs.
The State Minister further said that our youth will play a major role in building sustainable development and inclusive knowledge based society in the country. For this, in the vision of Digital Bangladesh, deep attention has been given to build digital startups through young people. A natural entrepreneurial culture is being established in the country.
