The new curriculum will be introduced in class 9 from next year. Therefore, from the next academic year (2024), there will be no division at the secondary level. As a result, students of class 9-10 will study under one department.
At present, students are studying in science, business education and humanities departments in class IX.
The Ministry of Education’s Secondary and Higher Education Department has issued an office order regarding non-separation of departments in ninth grade on Monday. It was signed by Deputy Secretary Syed A Z Morshed Ali.
