Nokia-branded phone maker HMD Global became the first leading smartphone company to start selling the device in Europe. The company started this journey with the ‘Made in Hungary’ 5G model. Basically, HMD Global is making devices in Europe to reduce the data security concerns of customers. News Reuters.
“We are delighted to launch our signature rugged 5G smartphone, the Nokia XR21, in Europe,” said Jean-François Baril, Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO of HMD Global.
Earlier, HMD Global announced the production of smartphones in Europe last February.
