System Admin Day was celebrated at Institute of Engineers, Kakrail (IBEA) in Dhaka by acquiring skills on new technologies in mutual cooperation with the world. Bangladesh System Administrators Forum (BDSAF) celebrated the day by cutting a cake at the end of three day-long technical training workshops after the inaugural session on Friday morning.
In the opening ceremony, Engineer AKMA Hamid, President of Diploma Engineers Institute and Imdadul Haque, President of Internet Service Providers Association, Imdadul Haque, emphasized on organizing training and workshops in new technologies for the organization to acquire skills related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Sumon Ahmed Sabir, a member of APNIC Executive Committee, encouraged the attendees to acquire skills on new technologies in this panel discussion held with the participation of about one hundred trainees in system admin, technical and computer operations of various organizations.
Mifta Uddin, an official of the software development firm Brain Station, shed light on career development based on the cloud platform, and similar statements were made by Tutul Siddique Arnab, General Manager of Global Brand Private Limited and Zobair Al Mahmud, convener of BDSAF.
After the opening ceremony, BJIT instructor Amir Hossain, GP’s Head of Cloud Networking Security Raskin Pal, Chief Development Engineer SM Didarul Abedin and Oracle Bangladesh’s Senior Cloud Architect Al Imran gave hands-on training on next generation computing.
In the afternoon, Link 3 CTO Rakibul Hasan, Associate Professor of BRAC University Dr. Sadek Ferdous and Brain Station 23 CTO Mohammad Mizanur Rahman shed light on Blockchain and AI Converging.
BDSAF Joint Convenor Muhibul Muktadir Tanim, Dhaka Bank AVP Mohammad Ashfakur Rahman and BGD e-GOV CIRT Digital Forensic Analyst Rubayat Bin Modasser took the last seminar on cyber security.
