Aspire to Innovate (a2i) and Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum (BIGF) have signed an agreement to ensure the empowerment of Bangladesh through active participation in global policies and practices related to the digital domain in the international arena.
On Monday, a2i’s project director (Additional Secretary) Dr. Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir and BIGF Secretary General Muhammad Abdul Haque Anu signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at the a2i office located in the capital’s IDB Bhaban.
According to the agreement, BIGF will provide technical assistance to a2i in the implementation of Global Digital Compact and UN Summit of the Future 2024.
a2i’s Human Development Media Production Manager and Consultant Purabi Mateen and Bangladesh NGO Network for Radio and Communication (BNNRC) CEO AHM Bazlur Rahman were present among others at the signing ceremony.
