Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) also conducted admission test for first year ‘C’ unit along with other universities for the 3rd time. 880 students sat for examination in ‘C’ unit. Among them, more than 98.30 percent students have appeared in JUST, said the exam officials.
The admission test of the students who have passed the GST integrated admission test in ‘C’ unit was held today on May 27. On June 3, admission test will be held from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm for the students who have passed the science department in ‘A’ unit.
The JUST Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain said that the admission test of GST ‘C’ unit was held at JUST center in a smooth and peaceful manner. He sincerely thanked all the teachers, officials and employees of JUST for successfully completing the admission test. At the same time, he expressed sincere thanks and gratitude to all concerned including Jashore District Administration, Police Administration, JUST Chhatra League, Journalists Association, BNCC for successfully completing the admission test at JUST.
The convening committee of GST integrated admission tests of JUST informed that because of the small number of students of ‘C’ unit, the admission test of batch method was held in only one center of JUST. Roll numbers, center and building indicators are provided on digital banners at various places of the university for the convenience of students. At the same time, the security sub-committee members, BNCC and other volunteers are on duty at the entrance of all the buildings to provide assistance to the students. An 18-member striking force consisting of teachers and officials was also tasked with detecting illegal devices. Apart from this, various progressive student organizations including JUST Chhatra League, Journalist Association rendered support to the admission seeking students.
Prior to this, all-out preparations were made in the JUST to successfully complete the admission test of the cluster system. The Executive Magistrate and adequate number of law and order forces were deployed to avoid any kind of chaos during the admission test and to ensure a fair environment for the examination. After the start of the exam, the Vice-chancellor professor Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain visited the examination center with the convenor of the admission test committee of the university.
