For a long time there have been various whispers about Royal Enfield’s introduction of electric motorbikes in the market. Earlier, several related reports have also been published. Which is now endorsed by Royal Enfield itself. This new electric bike is being developed jointly with a Spanish company called ‘Stark Future’. Royal Enfield has already invested 5 crore euros in Stark.
Royal Enfield’s first electric motorcycle has not been released by any information agency. However, it is expected to be unveiled within the next few years.
Eicher Motors Managing Director Siddharth Lal said, “We are confident in our electric vehicle journey. So that significant success can be seen in this regard, I am planning it. It was a great start to the journey with our partner Stark.”
Also, Royal Enfield has focused on making its own batteries and motors. So the company can present the bike with its own BMS or battery management system.
