Many western companies have pulled out of business from Russia due to the Ukraine war. Electronic product manufacturers LG, Sony and Bosch are also going to be added to that list.
Companies have already closed many of their own brand showrooms. This information was reported by the Russian newspaper Kommersant, citing the representatives of these brands.
The three electronic giants had earlier announced plans to withdraw from the Russian market and stop delivering products. Until recently, the brands had consistently conducted commercial operations in Russia.
According to LG’s technical support team, the company plans to close all Russian showrooms. The ban has made it difficult to bring products into Russia and deliver them to showrooms. That is why the company is forced to close the showrooms. Sony’s technical support team also said the same. However, it is also known that the showrooms of the three companies will be open in Moscow until the summer.
A Bosch representative said all but one retail outlet in Moscow will be closed. The showroom will also be closed when the stock is sold out.
Earlier food companies include McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, Heineken and Starbucks; Cosmetics companies L’Oréal and Estee Lauder, Denmark’s shipping and logistics group AP Møller-Maersk, France’s Leroy Marlin, Finland-based telecom parts maker Nokia and many other big companies closed their businesses.
