Chinese carmaker Geely Holding Group has launched 11 low-Earth orbit satellites in space. These satellites have been sent into space in the second phase to enhance the capability to provide proper navigation support for unmanned vehicles. News Reuters.
The satellite was launched from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan Province. Geely informed the matter in a statement.
By 2025, the company expects to send 72 satellites into orbit. Geely plans to put 240 satellites into orbit in succession.
Earlier, Geely launched the first satellite in June 2022.
