Tesla Inc. will withdraw about 200,000 electric vehicles (EVs) from the US market due to camera defects. News CNBC.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) of the United States said that the company has decided to withdraw the car because the Tesla’s rearview camera does not display images due to a software error.
The US firm said in an update on its website that Tesla’s Model S, X and Y vehicles running on Full Self-Driving 4.0 software are on the withdrawal list due to a software error.
Tesla has already started issuing an over-the-air software update to solve the problem. It is also said that the withdrawal will be notified by mail from March 22.
