Electric car manufacturer Tesla has decided to stop operating its electric car factory in Germany for a few days for the unavailability of some parts. News BBC.
According to reports, the Houthis continue to attack cargo ships in the Red Sea. As a result, the ships are no longer going on that route. As a result, Tesla’s car manufacturing plant near Berlin will be closed from January 29 to February 11.
In a statement, Tesla said, “We are suspending car production at our German factory from January 29 to February 11 due to a shortage of parts.”
The company also said that they have faced this crisis due to the virtual standstill of shipping in the Red Sea. Basically, the Houthi rebels attacked cargo ships one after another in that region. They have threatened to do so until Israel’s attacks on Gaza stop.
Tesla said ships are now passing through the Cape of Good Hope due to conditions in the Red Sea. For that reason, production at Tesla’s factory has been disrupted.
