India will launch communication satellites on SpaceX’s Falcon-9 rocket. This is the first such deal in an Asian country with a company owned by US billionaire Elon Musk. News Reuters.
India’s broadband internet communication range will be increased through these high-powered satellites, according to state-owned News Space India sources.
The satellite may be launched in the second quarter of this year. Its weight is approximately 4,700 kg.
