Before the unveiling of the Nothing Phone 2A, not much can be speculated. The phone is said to be a cheaper version of the Nothing Phone 2 which came in 2023. However, the company has not yet confirmed anything about the phone. But a new leaked information has revealed its price. Apart from that, the good news is, the phone is going to be unveiled in 2024.
Noted tipster Roland Quandt posted on social media platform X that, the Nothing Phone 2A might come in black and white. He said the starting model of the phone, which has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage inside, could cost less than 400 euros. And there may be another version of the phone with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, but he didn’t say how much it might cost.
Recently, leaked images of a test version called the Production Validation Test (PVT) unit surfaced, which gives a glimpse at a redesigned backpanel. PVT units are usually made in small quantities during production to ensure that all parts function properly and meet quality standards.
These leaked images reveal a standard punch-hole notch display on the front, a common feature of many smartphones. The rear panel gets a new look with a horizontally positioned camera module at the top center. This design is different from previous models of Nothing Phone.
As per the specs, the Nothing Phone 2A is rumored to have an OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is usually found in mid-range phones. There may also be a 6.7-inch screen, a MediaTek Dimension 7200 SAC. The phone will come with Android 14 operating system.
