Posts and Telecommunication Minister Mostafa Jabbar said, “We, in Asia, will lead the 5th Industrial Revolution”. “The main aspect of the 5th industrial revolution is the direct interaction of technology with people, leading to social and human development, and not just technology growth- he told this while addressing as the chief guest at the Free Laptop Distribution Ceremony of Daffodil Polytechnic Institute. He also said, “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina undertook the project to establish Digital Bangladesh in the world by 2021, which we have achieved, and we need to now move to Industrial Revolution 5.0 to make technology ensure social and human development, leading to a developed Bangladesh in next ten years”.
To prepare the students for the 21st century and to adapt them to the latest ICT friendly education to enhance their knowledge, skills and abilities to fit globally, Daffodil Polytechnic Institute (DPI distributed free laptop among the students under “One Student-One Laptop” project today on November 21, 2022 at ’71 Milonayoyon of Daffodil Education Network bhaban at Dhanmondi in the capital.
Country’s renowned novelist and Associate Editor Anisul Haque, Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahaman, Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University and Dr. Omar Faruk, Director General of Bangladesh Technical Education Board were present as the chief guest. The function was also addressed Principal K M Hasan Ripon of Daffodil Polytechnic Institute. A large number of Students, teachers, parents and guardians were present at the program.
