This time, Netgear, a US manufacturer of networking, storage and security products, has launched its own flagship online store in the Bangladeshi domain. The shop was inaugurated at Dhaka Intercontinental on Saturday by Mr. Simon Tsang, VP of Sales APAC for Netgear inaugurated the flagship store virtually via teleconferencing while Md. Shahid-ul-Munir, President of Bangladesh Computer Samity were present as chief guest at the event.
Mohammad Monirul Islam, Managing Director of Computer City Technologies Limited, a Bangladeshi distributor of Netgear, said that Netigier’s products would be delivered to the buyer’s home via EMI through cash on delivery or credit card from the website.
He also called the launch of this flagship store a milestone: “As far as I know, this is the first Flasgship store to be opened and directly managed by an International reputed ICT brand in Bangladesh. We are proud to be associated with history today. This online flagship store will provide customers to closely interact with Netgear”
Speaking as the Chief Guest Md. Shahid-ul-Munir, President, Bangladesh Computer Samity stressed the importance of providing quality service and ensuring a smooth user interaction: “I am delighted to see brands like Netgear stepping up to come closer to their customers through a direct online presence via this flasgship store. I hope that with enhanced service and user interaction the site will eradicate some of the fears consumers have experienced in the recent past with a few e-commerce sites and bring back their faith in online shopping”
