Jessore University of Science and Technology (JUST) Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department has completed a four-day long training workshop titled ‘Syber Security for Networking Professionals’ covering types of cyber attack, scopes and areas, harmful Aspects of cyber attacks and ways to overcome them by using applications like ‘Deeds’, ‘Malware’ and ‘Web Applications’.
The training workshop ended on Tuesday with the distribution of certificates among the participants. The training workshop started on March 20 at the conference room of Sheikh Hasina Software Technology Park in Jessore which was organized with the support of the European Union’s Asia Connect project of the South Korea-based Trans Eurasia Information Network.
The closing ceremony was presided over by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology and Chairman of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Prof. Syed Md. Ghalib. He said that the whole world is now heavily dependent on the cyber world. So we have to build this world as safe. As part of this, a four-day workshop was organized.
At the same time, the trainees hope that this training will play a strong role in keeping the cyber world of their organization safe. Later, certificates and gifts were handed over to the trainees.
ICT expert engineer of the CEDT project of the Ministry of Education, Zahidul Islam, Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Md. Alam Hossain, Assistant Professor, Nazmul Hossain, Lecturer Mustafizur Rahman Akand, Mustain Billah and others were present at the closing ceremony.
In the training workshop, experts in cybersecurity are trained on the responsibilities and duties of network professionals. About 32 network professionals from 25 universities of Bangladesh including BdREN participated in this training workshop.
